Layer 1 · Infrastructure · Tracking

# Wrong tracking means wrong decisions.

Put in properly by us and kept working. For shops: server-side tracking and a clean product feed. For B2B: every ad lead in HubSpot with its campaign, and visiting companies named.

## Browser tracking misses sales your ads made

Ad blockers, privacy settings and short cookie lives mean the ad platforms never hear about some of the sales they drove. So they optimise on less than the truth, and your reports disagree.

## Everything else rests on it

Tracking feeds the dashboards, the dashboards guide your decisions and your decisions move the budget. Break the first step and the rest goes wrong with it.

1

### Tracking

Records every sale or lead at the source, so the figures start out right.

2

### Dashboards

Show what happened. If the tracking is short, they confidently show the wrong thing.

3

### Campaign decisions

Meta and Google learn from the sales you report back. Report too few and they optimise towards a false picture.

4

### Budget

Money moves to the channels that look best. Without clean data, those are not always the ones that work.

A dashboard does not warn you when its data is short. It shows plausible figures that are quietly too low, which is why this layer comes first.

## Two routes, one foundation

Chosen at onboarding to fit how you sell.

### For shops

* Server-side tracking on Shopify, so sales your ads made are counted
* Product feed connected and checked every week
* Meta, Google and Microsoft Ads connected

### For B2B

* HubSpot set up so every ad lead carries its campaign
* Companies visiting your site named, even without a form
* Meta, Google and LinkedIn connected

## Done once, properly

### Written down

What counts as a sale or a lead is agreed with you and documented.

### History backfilled

Up to two years, so the dashboards start full, not empty.

### Live in days

Typically within days of access. Nothing for you to configure.

## Audit, build, check

Every set-up follows the same order, and each step leaves you something to look at before the next one starts.

1

### Audit

We read what is already in place: the tags, the events and the details your site passes to the ad platforms. We note what fires correctly, what is counted twice and what is missing, and write it down for you.

2

### Build

For shops, server-side tracking goes in and the product feed is connected. For B2B, ad leads are connected to HubSpot and visiting companies are named. Where the data is messy, we tidy it so product and lead details are right.

3

### Check

Before anything is switched over, we compare the new figures with the browser’s, the ad platforms’ and your own shop orders or HubSpot records. It goes live only when the numbers reconcile.

The audit comes first for a reason. Building on a broken set-up carries the same bad data forward, only in a new place.

Stated up front

### A short dip, then a truer view

When server-side tracking replaces browser tracking, campaigns re-learn against the new signal, and there can be a small, temporary dip. After that, more of the sales you already get become visible. Revenue does not go up; what you can see does. We time the switch around your trading calendar.

## Kept working by Crank

Installed at onboarding and watched every day. If a tag breaks or a feed starts failing, it shows up in the daily digest. The tracking tools are passed through at list price, Wetracked for shops or Snitcher for B2B, and the accounts stay in your name.
